‘The Land Show’ Celebrates 100 Episodes This Week

Whether you have $100, 100 friends or 100 radio show episodes in the books, it’s something to be celebrated. Any time a client we work with reaches a significant milestone, we want to let people know about it! That being said, The Land Show, a product of the land real estate company, Southeastern Land Group, is one we’d like to recognize for a recent significant achievement. The Land Show celebrates 100 episodes this week!

As a live recorded radio show and weekly podcast, The Land Show caters to listeners who have a rural heritage or an interest in land investing, recreational land use such as hunting, fishing and farming and just enjoying the outdoors. The show first aired Oct. 3, 2015, and it has continued to expand via a large weekly following. Hosted by Southeastern Land Group President Dave Milton and land broker Johnathan Goode, The Land Show strives to teach listeners the best ways to acquire the land they’ve always dreamed of owning, make the most of the land they have and encourage a general appreciation for the outdoors living in the southeastern United States.

Each week, The Land Show hosts regular segments and featured guests who are leaders in the land, hunting, fishing, farming and recreational land industries. Esteemed past guests have included personalities like Chuck Sykes, ‎Director of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries at the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, John McMillan, Commissioner of the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries, Greg Lein, Director of the Alabama State Parks Division and others.

The Land Show also features regular appearances from its panel of land, farming, wildlife and outdoor recreation experts including Robert King, Russ Walters, George Mann Jr., John Morris, Kyle Ingalls and Tim Baker. Regular segments include “Timber Talk,” “Outdoor Update,” and the “Farmland Report.”

The current live recorded one-hour show airs on Saturday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. CST or 6 to 7 a.m. across 70-plus percent of the state of Alabama. The Land Show airs on large iconic news talk stations such as 101.1 FM WYDE in Cullman, 93.1 WACV in Montgomery and 101.5 FM KIX in Selma, among others ranging from Huntsville to Meridian, Miss.
